Clutch n' Go

While the chunky oversized bag is still big news, sliding its way onto the scene this Spring/Summer is the 'new' clutch bag. The clutch has made a number of appearances over previous decades and even Kel Knight with his man-bag may have been responsible for an upward trend a couple of years ago. This time they are back with some great functional as well as stylish features.
Not just the small envelope size anymore. Today's clutches are roomy and will hold everything the general handbag will. Nancy Bird makes these gorgeous satchel styles (above), which you could obviously throw everything into.
Pleating is big and this Carlos Falchi pleated python clutch, which retails at over $1K, is an example. I'm not quite sure if it really is python, and as it will not be in my wardrobe, I guess I'll never know for sure.
Quirky shapes are also a sign that the clutch has really evolved. This Bulga clutch at Bluefly is certainly nothing like any clutch I have witnessed in the past. Bluefly has a huge range, many of which fall into the category of a clutch purse with a clip frame such as:
Currently, the choice is endless,
but if you've done the rounds and you still can't find anything better than the clutch featured at the title of this post, you can get it here in my shop - but be quick.
