Fringe Benefit
February 27th 2009 10:24
I recently had a nice full fringe chopped back into place, and I must say it has had its benefits. It sits at eyelash length, so I can actually observe situations through it without it being obvious. More importantly though, any thoughts I may have had about botox are now redundant, as the fringe covers the furrows. But best of all, a (very astute) friend likened my look to Uma Thurman's character in Pulp Fiction,
so now my dancing has improved, but I'm skipping the cocaine.
It seems many of the celebs have joined me in this hairstyle resurgance, even our australian icon Kylie.
And doesn't Keira Knightley look so sophisticated with hers.
A fringe doesn't need to be a grown up look either, as Katy Perry shows us with her punky version
and Jessica Alba, makes her fringe a very 'all seasons' look.
A fringe is a very simple way to try a new look, because they can be grown out quickly. With today's look of layered swept to the side fringes, it is easy to make this transition. So if you feel like you need a new look for this season, this trend is certainly worth a try.
