Of the Cuff

Never one to be an advocate of statement jewellery, I am surprised by my sudden smitteness(?) with Holly Hawk's range of leather cuffs, so much so that I think I will need to own one very shortly. Cuff bracelets have been happening recently, but largely ignored by me due to indifference to chunkiness. Holly Hawk has suddenly ignited my interest, so having done some research for us, I have to say there are some lovely cuffies out there waiting to be worn.
Taneesi's braided copper bracelet is a lovely example of a cuff that could be worn with a smart work suit or a pair of jeans and a plain white tee. Incredibly it retails for only US$29.99, so it could be winging its way to you from California quite easily.
This one from Topshop might inspire you if you are a silver girl. I think I might feel a bit wonder-womanish wearing this one.
Tiger Lilly has made the tree landscape cuff bracelet to remind us of our roots (sorry) - a lovely cuff that would be like sporting a piece of art.
I did a quick search on ebay and a ton of cuffs appeared. After trawling for a few minutes, this one caught my eye:
If you're one for rocks (gems), ebay is really worth a look because I noticed masses with turquoise, amethyst and other semi-precious stones embedded within them.
For the more practical of us, the Contexture Design Workshop has created the Coffee Cuff - a bracelet you can simply whip off and slide onto your Starbucks. Crafted from reclaimed veneer, you can be ecofriendly and stylish at the same time - we'll just overlook the disposable cup for now.
